Like other groups, lots of CRAVITY’s members have English names, so let’s go over them!
1. SeongMin - Jellypop, Kevin
When asked by a fan if his English name was still Jellypop, he said that he gave himself that name before taking English classes in primary school. When he got a bit older, one of his English teachers gave him the name Kevin, but he thought that the name had a mischievous vibe to it. In a V Live, he asked LUVITYs for suggestions on what his new English name should be, and after giving them some time to suggest names in the chat, he didn’t quite like any of them, so he said that he’d just live as SeongMin. However, many LUVITYs believe that Jellypop is a very fitting name for him.
2. WonJin - Brittney, Steve
In a V Live, JungMo asked him what his English name was, and since he didn’t have one at the time, he came up with “Brittney” on the spot. He also said that his English name was JungMo, but he was definitely joking. However, on a separate occasion, when asked by a fan if he has an English name, he said that he doesn’t, and for now, he’ll go with the name Steve.
3. SeRim - Nick
SeRim’s English name is Nick. It was given to him while attended an English kindergarten but said that he doesn’t ever use it.
4. TaeYoung
TaeYoung often credits his good English with living in Malaysia during his childhood. Since he spent a few years there, you’d be surprised to hear that he doesn’t have an English name, despite English being widely spoken in Malaysia. When asked by a LUVITY what his English name was, he simply responded with his full Korean name.
5. HyeongJun - Ham
HyeongJun has an English name, but it’s not a conventional one at all. His English name is Ham, which just so happens to also be WonJin’s last name!
6. WooBin
Woobin doesn’t have an English name, as he’s told fans that he only goes by WooBin.
7. MinHee
MinHee doesn’t have an English name either.
8. Allen
Like many other idols, Allen’s English name is his real name, as he is a Taiwanese-American raised in Los Angeles.
9. JungMo - Patrick, Andy
JungMo lived in New Zealand for a few years when he was younger. While in kindergarten, his mom gave him the English name “Patrick,” but when his teacher would call on him using that name, he would never respond to it since he was only familiar with his real name. The teacher ended up contacting his mom and decided to just call JungMo instead. Another English name that he has is Andy, and he said that he doesn’t mind being called either name.
